Whenever you relocate your GP-Probe, or change antennas or antenna RF cables, it's essential to recalibrate the algorithms and update the Reference Position.
- Open the Probe Config Popup from the Map, Charts, or Probes menu.
- Inside the 'Position' section of the Probe Config Popup:
- Click on 'Recalculate Position'.
- Then, 'Copy'.
- In the 'Algorithms Calibration' section:
- Press 'Reset Calibration'.
Be careful with the algoritms recalibration. If performed in the presence of interference or signal anomaly, the algorithms will consider this data as the normal. When the interference later disappears, a probe will show an "Anomaly" status
Full calibration takes up to 24 hours. While our algoritms start working immediately, the sensitivity becomes optimal after a compete calibration.
